Many people believe that because God started with one man and one women this rules out all Polygyny and justifies monogamy.
If you wish to be simple minded and ignore facts and logic. Then sure believe that.
Is God really that simple minded ?
Was it in Gods will and plan to have 8 billion people on the planet 2024 ?
So if is was God plan to just have one man and one women in the beginning why allow 8 billion currently.
Ok right many will now say God said to be fruitful and multiply, just not in polygyny. Well then right so if God said that in Genesis 1:28 and you believe that, then God also gave the laws to Moses Deuteronomy 11:1 and you can find this in other parts of the bible as well where is says God spake…such as Leviticus 21:1, Moses did not make the laws up. God knows everything and just because He started with one man and on women does not mean His intentions and end design was for monogamy only. In fact if His intentions were for that and polygyny is against His natural created design and God was that displeased about it and so much then God would of made laws to prohibit polygyny just like there are laws against homosexuality and beastiality. But against Polygyny laws! they don’t exist.
The bible front to back does not have a single law against polygyny which if it did then polygyny would be a sin. So no law against but in fact laws that regulate some parts of Polygyny are included in the bible. So folks it is no sin.
Here is another one, how many eye colors in the world ?
Did Adam and Eve each have different color eyes …was each of their 4 eyes a different color ?
So the same with Polygyny and variations did God really intend for monogamy only and if He did how many eye colors did He intend for people then if we go with that logic ?
What about skin color and the height people have or foot size….was Adam and Eve the model for every person alive ? What about voice pitch….and so on.
He made people different and if some men want more than one wife. Then it is what it is.
God allows it people and it’s written in the bible in more than one place.
So the folks who claim polygyny is not God’s way or plan or in His will. Need to accept that God allows it and does not condemn it. And folks who say People who engage in Polygyny relationships in the bible are not in God’s will, only need to look at King David a man who was a polygamist and who God said was a man after His own heart 1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22. Need to also look at 1 kings 15:5 and show me where Polygyny is included as wrong doing of King David. I am waiting people. Show me the truth.
Also please show where in the bible any man was condemned for it. Does not exist. But what does exist is people condemning polygyny with no soild bible proof to back them up.
Some people say polygamy comes into the picture only after sin enters the world and corrupts God’s good creation but again that’s being simple minded and reason is because there is no bible verse as proof at all that just because God started with two people that His intentions were for monogamy relationships only. The fact that God allows it never condemned should speaks volumes.
You can argue that God allows divorce but not intended yet Jesus Himself in Matthew 19:8 said along the lines of Moses (God who gave the laws to Moses) suffered it because the hardness of peoples hearts. The exact wording is below from the KJV bible.
He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

Some people claim that verse and insert polygyny in place of divorce as a reason for anti polygyny.
That God only allowed it but from the beginning it was one man and one women. They overlooked the other facts in the bible to come up with that simple minded explanation. They also fail to show where in the bible Jesus talked about polygyny the same way He did divorce. That it was only suffered or allowed because of __________insert anti Polygyny excuse here ____________.
If you still insist it is because of sin as the only reason God allows Polygyny then is it also because of sin God allows eating of animal flesh ? So do you eat meat ? Do you wish to continue to eat meat but disapprove of Polygyny?

Jesus and New Testament does not change Polygyny which some folks also claim. That it was only allowed in Old Testament times is false and other places around the world allow it and the places that did not is because of white supremacists and bible error teachers as contribution features.
